This morning, there was ice on my windshield. Ice. In October.
That doesn’t normally happen here in Eastern NC.
It made me start thinking about fall and winter.
As much as I adore summer, the heat, long days, swimming and sunning,
I must admit I kind of adore fall, too.
Cool days and cold nights, sitting around a fire drinking hot chocolate,
wearing sweaters, and of course, scarves.
You should know how much I love scarves.
I have spring scarves, light airy things that add a little color in an unexpected way,
and fall scarves, heavy, warm and cozy.
Today I am wearing a heather gray scarf.
It is my go to fall scarf.
It matches pretty much everything, and in a way, really brings me into fall.
